How to Join AGMA

We’re excited that you are interested in joining AGMA!  We would welcome your membership.  Our Board and Staff are dedicated to helping members compete more effectively in today’s global marketplace.   To join, simply complete the membership application and return it with a check or your credit card information.  It’s that easy for you to become a part of the Association established solely for the purpose of assisting its members, the gear industry as a whole, and the public by dealing with issues of mutual concern.

Questions?

A membership representative is standing by to answer any questions you may have concerning your membership in AGMA.   E-mail Membership@AGMA.org or call us at (703) 684-0211.

Why You Should Join AGMA

AGMA has members in about 30 countries and, in fact, is quickly becoming the global Association for global manufacturers in the gear industry.   As we become more globally connected, it is imperative that we recognize how others outside of our own country conduct business – AGMA is an intersection of diverse cultures, businesses and products.

Member involvement has enabled AGMA to have an impact on issues such as federal procurement policy, product liability, international trade reform and other issues of importance to the gear industry. Through AGMA, YOU can have an impact.

Members may participate in several FREE management-level reports designed to provide accurate and timely information and statistics. See where you stand in the industry! A questionnaire will be sent to a specified individual and returned to our consultants to compile the historical statistical data. These summaries will provide benchmark statistical information critical to management decision making. This service is FREE to participating members ONLY.

The best way to keep pace with the industry is through AGMA. We keep you abreast of the latest trends and developments through peer-to-peer contacts at council meetings and educational programs, survey market statistics programs, newsletters, and technical publications.

Setting the Standards

For more than 80 years, AGMA has set the standards for the gear industry, and AGMA members are recognized as experts around the world.   Member committees write new standards and update existing ones.   When you become a member, you will receive a complimentary set of AGMA standards on CD and electronic copies of new and revised standards as they are published.   Click here for the AGMA Publications Catalog.
