Don't spend days pouring over documents and running calculations.

Let AGMA's new Gear Rating Suite calculate load capacities
according to ISO 6336 and AGMA 2001 Standards for you!

** Version 2.2 **

Download the brochure and order form.

It will:
• Determine gear capacity in accordance with the ISO 6336 and ANSI/AGMA 2001.
• Quickly and accurately compare your own designs and practices with these standards.
• Help you understand competitor’s ratings.

Version 2.2 has a revised data input scheme, and, like the previous version, contains updates to the accuracy specification section to include, besides ISO 1328 and AGMA 2000, the ability to specify and compare gear tolerances based on the recently published ANSI/AGMA 2015-1-A01, Accuracy Classification System – Tangential Measurements for Cylindrical Gears.

In addition, responding to feedback from the many users of the software, data input screens have been redesigned for more efficiency and to be user friendly.

The ISO 6336 rating standard for spur and helical gears has been adopted by countries worldwide, and ANSI/AGMA 2001 represents over 30 years of most recent experience in gear rating.  These two standards are over 300 pages of complex technical information.

The Gear Rating Suite calculates ratings for external involute spur and helical gears according to ISO 6336 and ANSI/AGMA 2001 standards. The program interprets these standards faithfully without imposing design rules; thereby, a full range of gears can be analyzed accurately.

In addition to the ISO 6336 and ANSI/AGMA 2001 Standards, the program also covers material from the following standards:
• ISO 1328-1 Tolerances
• AGMA 908 Geometry Factors
• ISO 6336-5 Materials
• AGMA 2000 Tolerances
• ASTM E140 Hardness Conversion
• AGMA 2002 Tooth Thickness
• AGMA 2015-1 Tolerances (NEW!)

All the above standards (except ASTM), are included in Option I, along with the following reference standards:
• AGMA 913 Profile Shift (x-factors)
• AGMA 915-1 Inspection Practices
• AGMA 918 Examples for Geometry Factors
• ISO 53 Basic Rack Tooth Profile

Finally, we have introduced new purchasing options (See the brochure for pricing):

  • OPTION I – If your requirements include the software, User Manual, and the complete set of AGMA and ISO reference standards.
    Purchase Online Option I
  • OPTION II – If your requirements include only the software and User Manual (no reference standards).
    Purchase Online Option II
