Global Standards/ISO
The market of today, and tomorrow, is global. With the support
of the AGMA Foundation, AGMA plays a key role in the development of
international standards through participation in the International Organization
for Standardization (ISO).
Since 1993, AGMA has served as Secretariat of ISO Technical Committee
60 on Gearing, and has enjoyed great success in overseeing the
development of the best possible, consensus-driven international
standards.
The Foundation raises funds specifically for ISO work, raising over
half a million dollars in the past 10 years. Recent major funders
of ISO are the Caterpillar and Gleason Foundations.
