Lifetime Achievement Award
This award is presented to the rare individual for years of service to the Association and to the gear industry who has demonstrated superior vision and leadership; given extensively of their time and skills; demonstrated wisdom in pursuit of industry consensus; achieved the respect and admiration of their peers and has been available whenever needed for the advancement of AGMA and the global gear industry.

Chairman’s Award of Excellence
The Chairman’s Award of Excellence is reserved for AGMA members who have contributed in a meaningful way to the promotion of the gear industry; have acted above and beyond the call of duty to support AGMA; and have advanced the goals of AGMA and the gear industry through work done on behalf of the association.

Next Generation Award
This award is recognizes innovation work by an individual responsible for one or more significant achievements through his or her effort and work that has enhanced or strengthened the gear industry and/or AGMA. This award honors individuals who are emerging as contributors, innovators, and leaders in the gear industry and serves as an incentive for others in the next generation of gear industry talent.

Distinguished Service Award
The AGMA Distinguished Service Award is to be bestowed upon only those individuals who have unselfishly advanced the state of the Gear Industry throughout their notable careers.

Board of Directors Award
The Board of Directors Award is given to individuals in appreciation for his or her meritorious service to the members of AGMA and to the gear industry as a member of the AGMA Board of Directors.

Business Management Executive Committee Award
The Business Management Executive Committee Award is presented to individuals who have made noteworthy efforts to enhance the art of management in the gear industry.

Technical Division Executive Committee Award
The Technical Division Executive Committee Award is reserved for individuals who, through there participation on AGMA Technical Committees, have made noteworthy contributions to advance the state of the gear design and manufacturing art for the benefit of all gear manufacturers.

Edward P. Connell Award
This award is presented to individuals whose contributions to AGMA or the gear industry have been above and beyond their ordinary obligations to serve or improve the industry. The award was initiated by the Falk Corporation as a memorial to one of the company’s outstanding gear engineers.
