MEETING HIGHLIGHTS
Resort Destination
The Hyatt Regency Hill Country Resort and Spa is located in the famos Texas Hill Country – home to sprawling acres of beautiful Texas bluebonnets. This is a site where you’ll discover a charming mix of authentic Texas hospility blended perfectly with all the activities you could want in a resort.
Interested in golf? Go for par on the award-winning 27 hole championship golf course which is also the location for the Annual AGMA/ABMA Golf Tournament. For those interested in other activites, you can kick back and take ride down the Hyatt’s Ramblin’ River, or plan a day of total pampering at Windflower – the Hill Country Spa.
And you do’t have to leave the kids at home. They can sign up for Camp Hyatt, where they can explore the wild west of Texas; spend all day splashing in the four-acre water park; or head out on nature trails for eco-inspired exploration.
Just a few exits from the Hyatt Hill Country are Sea World San Antonio and San Antonio Six Flags, both very poppular family – friendly attractions the whole family will enjoy.
Visit San Antonio
No visit to the Hill Country is complete without experiencing the downtown area of San Antonio and the River Walk. The River Walk is a network of paths that follow the river through the city’s center – it’s a true shoppers’ paradise, where you can meander through the boutiques and then rest at the many al fresco cafes for a taste of Tex-Mex food accompanied by local wines from the Hill Country.
Just beside the River Walk lies the legendary Alamo, where a small group of Texans defended the mission against the Mexican Army in 1836. Despite the odds against the Texans and the significant casualties, they held on for 13 days and became heroes in American history.
