2013 AGMA/ABMA Annual Meeting

We are looking forward to seeing you next week in Carlsbad, California for the 2013 AGMA/ABMA Annual Meeting.
As you are packing and preparing for the trip, here are some last minute items that you may find useful.
MEETING ATTIRE
- Dress for the meeting is business casual
- FRIDAY NIGHT -- Do remember that when you are packing for the trip to Miramar, to wear comfortable shoes and slacks for the ladies. As part of the tour of the flight line, you will have the opportunity to climb up the ladder and view the cockpit. Slacks are more suitable than a dress and low shoes are safer when climbing a ladder.
- SATURDAY NIGHT – Saturday evening dress is business attire. Historically this was a formal event, but that has now changed to business, which means a jacket and tie for the gentleman and dress and/or resort attire for the ladies.
GETTING AROUND
- Ground Transportation - If you need ground transportation from San Diego Airport, you can make a reservation with Super Shuttle by calling 800.258.3826.Be sure to mention the AGMA/ABMA Annual Meeting and the group code (VXCX3). A link has been set up online for your convenience. The discount is $2 off the trip each way or $5 off the Executive Car service each way. The discount will only apply to those with an advanced reservation. If you are arriving at Carlsbad airport, the Park Hyatt Aviara and Four Seasons are a short taxi ride.

Planning Your Annual Meeting
Park Hyatt Aviara Resort is located about 30 miles north of the San Diego International Airport (SAN) and only five miles from McClellan-Palomar Regional Airport (CLD) in Carlsbad. The regional airport supports flights from Los Angeles and can be a good alternative to San Diego.
GROUND TRANSPORTATION AND PARKING

Or you can dine at the Argyle Steakhouse, located at the Aviara Golf Clubhouse, and try the finest cuts of California organic beef, served in a setting overlooking the 18th green.
The other choices are the California Bistro and the Ocean Grill (at the pool) which serve a mix of California cuisine in a much more relaxed environment.

FAMILY ACTIVITIES
The Park Hyatt Aviara Resort offers Camp Hyatt for children from 4-12 years of age. This is an activity-based
program that include age-appropriate events at a special area of the resort. The children are introduced to various activities, games, and crafts and have the opportunity to make new friends and experience new natural wonders around the Hyatt grounds.
