Note: There are two Hilton Hotels in Budapest. The AGMA International Business Conference will be located in the historical Castle District of Budapest.
The Castle District dates back to the 13th century. It is surrounded by medieval walls that house many historic buildings, including the landmarks of the Royal Palace, Fisherman’s Bastion and Matthias Church. The Hilton faces East over the Danube River and Pest. This location gives every guest a unique vantage point to witness sunrise over the Danube and the magnificent views of all areas of Budapest.
The Castle District is filled with many quaint streets that will provide hours of shopping, sightseeing, coffee houses and restaurants.
HILTON RESERVATIONS
Rooms have been reserved at a discounted rate for this conference. The single guest room rate is EUR 182 and the double guest room rate is EUR 214 daily. The river-view sleeping room includes all taxes (including VAT and city tax); daily full-service European and American breakfast in the Hilton dining room; and wireless internet access.

TRANSPORTATION
Budapest’s Ferihegy airport is located 24KM from the city. The airlines arrive and depart at one of the three terminals, depending on whether they are domestic or international.
Most of the flights from the US connect thought Germany, however there are two non-stop flights from John F. Kennedy International Airport.
If you are planning to extend your stay to the EMO show in Hannover, it is advised that you book your complete trip from the US. Booking a separate flight from Budapest would be more expensive.
The Hilton can also arrange individual ground transportation to and from the hotel. The price is EUR 38 for the pickup and EUR 30 for the departure. This rate is good for two people arriving and departing together. Transfer fees can be added to your front desk account at the Hilton. If you plan on arriving by train to Budapest, note there are three train stations. Two are located on the Pest side, and one on the Buda side. You can transfer to taxi or Metro to complete your trip to the Hilton.

Attendees of the AGMA International Business Conference will tour the Audi Plant Györ
At the Hungarian plant in Győr, Audi Hungaria Motor Kft. develops and manufactures engines for AUDI AG and other companies of the Volkswagen Group. In partnership with the Ingolstadt plant it also assembles the Audi TT Coupé, the Audi TT Roadster, the Audi A3 Cabriolet and the Audi RS 3.
The founding of Audi Hungaria Motor Kft. in 1993 marked the start of construction work on one of the world’s most modern high-tech plants. The company has since developed into one of the country’s major exporters and highest-revenue businesses. Last year, Audi Hungaria produced a total of 1,648,030 engines and 38,541 cars. The transport of components between Győr and Ingolstadt by rail is environmentally
friendly.
SPOUSE/GUEST INFORMATION
Spouses are encouraged to accompany the attendees to Budapest . Separate functions have been arranged for Thursday and Friday, that will highlight some of the unique and colloquial aspects of the city and the Hungarian culture. Spouse fee also includes access to all the networking events: the Welcome Reception, two off-property dinners; and the tour to Audi in Györ.
Thursday Morning: Join your friends at breakfast as you plan your day prior to departing with the group for Györ. Explore the various shops and vendors around the Castle area; visit the nearby museums; and visit the wine festival before departing for the Audi tour.
Friday Morning: After breakfast you will be picked up by coach accompanied by an English speaking guide who will take you to the famous Central Market, located on the Buda side. This magnificent structure, built in 1887, is today home to the largest indoor Hungarian market. This is a great place to see the farmers’ selling meats, produce, vegetables and fabulous strudel. Pick up some souvenirs of paprika and Hungarian artifacts. The morning will conclude with a private luncheon where you can sample Hungarian sausages and lángos, one of their native dishes.
The attendees will meet the group at the Central Market and together the group will continue visiting the other historic parts of the city.
