Nomenclature Committee Meeting

Members of the Nomenclature Committee must register to attend this meeting.

The committee plans to continue discussion on revising ANSI/AGMA 1010-E95 “Appearance of Gear Teeth-Terminology of Wear and Failure,” as well as the reaffirmation of ANSI/AGMA 1012-G05 “Gear Nomenclature, Definitions of Terms with Symbols.”

This committee serves as the TAG to ISO 10825 and determines the U.S. position on the systematic review ballot of the standard.

Scope: Develops definitions, symbols, terms, etc., for all types and elements of gears (TAG to WG4).
