Members of the Sound & Vibration Committee must register for this free teleconference.

The committee members will continue their discussion on the new Information Sheet AGMA 919 “Condition monitoring and diagnostics of gear units.”

This document applies to the application of vibration measuring equipment and other methods. Included are:

• the use of vibration condition monitoring procedures and instrumentation;
• tribology-based monitoring and diagnostics;
• monitoring of temperature, pressure, etc.

Where possible, establishing baseline data and limits will be suggested in this information sheet.
