2011 Annual Meeting - What’s New?

Thursday Morning – Optional Event
In anticipation of the Annual AGMA/ABMA Golf Tournament on Friday, you can sign up for a group clinic, which will be held on Thursday, April 14th at 11:00 am

The pros will be available to give advice and offer tips on any or all parts of your game. There will be one pro for every five participants. The fee is $55 per golfer. If you are interested, please complete the registration form and include the fee in your overall payment.

Thursday Night
During the Welcome Reception, The AGMA Foundation will raise funds for research and workforce education programs with both silent and live auctions during the Annual Meeting. The Foundation Trustees are looking forward to fun and exciting activities involving everyone.

The silent auction, including fine gear-themed objects, sports packages, jewelry, wines, and more, will begin at the Welcome Reception on Thursday, continue throughout Friday, and conclude on Saturday after breakfast. The auction catalog will be available for preview in April.

Along with the auctions, the Foundation will be selling strings and mulligans in support of the annual golf tournament on Friday. The tournament will be played on the Hyatt Regency Hill Country Oaks and Creeks courses.

Friday Night
Bring on your boots, jeans, and cowboy hats as we enjoy a fun-filled Barbeque Dinner. In Texas, barbeque, “cue” or BBQ is a state of mind. You MUST leave the diet at home and come prepared to “eat high on the hog” with some Texas BBQ with all the Fix’ins. Then kick back with some country music and cowboy fun.

During Friday’s “Taste of Texas” Barbecue dinner, the AGMA Foundation will host a rousing live auction. Foundation Trustees are looking for high end itens – such as artwork, unique vacations, and other creative one-of-a-kind packages – to bring out competitive bidding.
