Toyota Under Scrutiny

A Toyota representative said the company fixed some pedals in Europe as early as August 2009, because it was assumed the problems were limited to right-side driving vehicles.

This week, the company also is expected to recall as many as 300,000 Prius hybrid vehicles because of a different problem, according to IndustryWeek.
