Administrative Assistant — Homebased: Ann Arbor, Michigan


·         Receiving dictation and transcribing

·         Processing Purchase Orders

·         Preparing quotes, contracts and following up with customers to collect necessary installation information

·         Reviewing placed orders for accuracy

·         Ensuring invoices are sent and paid

·         Approving travel expense reports

·         Preparing reports

·         Managing the ERP system

·         Managing the Sales Leads databases

·         Creating binders for department manager and printing large manuals

·         Conducting surveys with customers and vendors

·         Planning and supporting trade shows

·         Assisting with set-up and clean-up of corporate events and customer meetings

·         Scheduling and coordinating appointments, sales visits, meetings, travel arrangements

·         Making and receiving phone calls

·         Serving as backup to reception

·         Greeting and assisting guests; providing excellent customer service

·         Handling confidential information and filling out supplier (or other) forms

·         Additional duties as assigned by management



·         A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience

·         Two to five years administrative work experience

·         Problem solving and people skills required to convey technical information effectively

·         Proficient data entry skills

·         Proven experience with computers, Microsoft Office, and ERP systems

·         Ability to cope with a sometimes extremely hectic work environment

·         Ability to work within a team, and also independently


This is a full-time position offering a competitive salary commensurate with one’s experience, 401K with employer contribution, PTO, and 100% employer paid health and dental insurance for employee. We are interested in a long-term commitment. Aptitude and Skills testing may be administered.
