Location/ Hours:

Scot Forge is looking for Heat Treat Operator to join our team in Clinton, WI. 

This position will work second shift, hours are 3:00 p.m. to 11:30 p.m. (overtime and weekend as needed)

  • Maintain knowledge of process through training, perform scheduled observations, and provide quality feedback in order to promote safer work behaviors and conditions. .
  • Review scheduled shop orders for day’s loads and retrieve necessary materials for processing
  • Program and monitor furnace cycles via temperature controllers, adjustments and record readings
  • Visually inspect materials for flaws and defects..
  • Load and unload materials into furnaces according to established load sheet instructions keeping in mind product support and furnace uniformity.
  • Perform brinell testing operations and record results in accordance with established specifications.
  • Ensure verification and maintenance of part identity throughout processing.
  • Read and understand basic blueprints (weights, product sizes locations, hardness, test location)




  • High School Diploma or GED required. 
  • Push, pull, pinch, squat, stoop, bend
  • Standing/Walking over 50% of the day
  • Must be able to pass a lift evaluation of up to 65 lbs. (pre-employment)
  • Must be able to pass a 90 day  hair drug test.
