Machining Manufacturing Engineer, Outside Services
Shift/ Location: First Shift, Spring Grove

Ability to perform the following job functions:
Evaluate manufacturing process to assure purchased operations can be conducted successfully.
Determine risks based on process, inspection methods and detailed GD&T knowledge to develop purchased process description.
Identify capable suppliers, create RFQ.
Evaluate quotations and place work with selected supplier.
Expert understanding of machining manufacturing capabilities.
Project management software
Effective use of ERP & CAD systems
Education and Experience:
B.S. in Engineering and 3 years in support of a machining manufacturing organization as process engineer, manufacturing engineer or similar technical purchasing role.
Associate Degree in technical manufacturing, business or supply chain with 7 years’ experience in CNC programming, machining or purchasing if experienced in acquisition of machining services.
