Job Title: Parts and Service Manager
Department: Sales Reports To: Sales Manager FLSA Status: Exempt
Summary Description: The Parts and Service Manager will be responsible for all parts and service revenue and work to increase Cotta’s parts sales to OEM’s and end users as well as increase gearbox service, repair and reman business. The Parts and Service Manager will be responsible for developing stocking parts lists for all major OEM’s and in-house parts inventories, developing service parts recommendations for high speed gearbox customers, preventive maintenance programs, and parts communications with OEM customers and end users.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
• Develop parts stocking programs for OEM and distribution customers • Identify reman candidates (both product and customers) and create reman program structure. Promote to top customers • Grow repair and preventative maintenance programs for high speed products • Develop recommended spare parts lists for the top Cotta products • Develop and promote ‘on-site’ service availability and pricing structure • Create lubrication charts for all product families • Provide design for service input to product engineering • Support sales process by making customers visits with Sales Managers as needed • Develop service network, as required • Prepare and deliver service training to OEM, service center and aftermarket service personnel • Develop retail and wholesale parts pricing • Participates in Trade Shows, Sales Meetings, and other activities as required to promote Cotta products. • Communicate customer activities to management through both verbal and written reports. • Provide revenue input to support the annual financial plan

Educational Requirements: • Technical degree and minimum 5 years industry experience in heavy duty service or equivalent.
Minimum Skills Required: • Must demonstrate excellent oral, written and presentation skills. • Must be proficient with standard business systems and software. JobBOSS familiarity a plus.
Travel Requirement: ~25%
