Robotics Software Engineer

ASI Drives (, a leading producer of gear drives for battery powered machines, is seeking a Robotics Software Engineer for its new autonomous guided robot product line.

The Robotics Software Engineer designs and develops software applications. Performs coding, debugging, testing and troubleshooting throughout the autonomous guided robot development process. Also, develops and maintains software used in the manufacturing of ASI products.  Works with the product development team.  May require some travel to visit tradeshows, customers and vendors. Reports to Robotics Engineering supervisor. Experience with Python and CANbus is required. Experience with guidance, navigation and SLAM programming is highly desired.  Experience with Basic programming language is a plus.  Experience with motors, motor controllers and PID loops is a plus.  Experience with durable goods manufacturing is a plus. Requires a bachelor's degree. Requires 3 years minimum of related experience.
