Mercedes is building a new car plant in Hungary, creating 2,500 jobs

Automaker Daimler's Mercedes-Benz brand says it will build a new manufacturing plant in Hungary by the end of the decade, investing 1 billion euros ($1.11 billion) and creating 2,500 new jobs. Mercedes opened its first plant in the Hungarian city of Kecskemet in 2012, producing 180,000 compact cars in 2015.
