Rebecca Brinkley joined AGMA in 2017 as Communications Manager. Over the years, her passion for the industry broadened her focus into membership engagement where she increased AGMAโs retention rate to over 95 percent. Her focus within MPMA will include all aspects of member engagement, retention and attraction, as well as revenue-oriented programming including dues, media, trade show and sponsorship. She will be part of MPMAโs internal management team.
Leah Lewis joined AGMA in 2017 as Meetings Manager, primarily managing the Annual Meeting. Over time, she has overseen all of AGMAโs events, education programming and recently took over managing all aspects of MPT Expo. During her tenure at AGMA, she has earned a variety of certifications through PCMA and IAEE and recently was named the PCMA Capital Chapter President. Her focus will continue to develop programming and events that bring the industry together for knowledge sharing, networking, and business connections. She will be part of MPMAโs internal management team.
Matthew Jaster joined AGMA as part of the acquisition of Randall Publications in 2019. He has served as Senior Editor for Power Transmission Engineering, first as a consultant, then as a full-time employee in 2020. He has been with Gear Technology and PTE for 18 years. In this new role, he will manage the editorial efforts of MPMAโs magazines, working closely with the production team.
Stephanie Smialek joined AGMA in March of 2020 as the Education Coordinator and has been an important part of the education team, focusing on transitioning AGMAโs programming to include more digital-based offerings. She works closely with instructors on course development, onsite trainings, and operations of the education calendar. She will continue to grow in this role as MPMA programming has now doubled in size since 2016, and continues to grow as the need for strong technical educational content is a wide industry need.
Megan Morris joined AGMA in 2021 as a Digital Content Specialist. She was focused on web and email applications within the Media Division for the organization and will now expand that role to include all aspects of MPMA programming and marketing. Her new role allows her to drive value for our advertisers and ensure that the membership and broader industry keep up to date with the activities of MPMA and the publications.
Robin McWilliams joined AGMA in 2022 as a Program Assistant. Initially she assisted with a variety of administrative projects for the business team of AGMA, but has found her niche in the events team. In her new role, she will be working closely with Leah Lewis on the Annual Meeting, FTM and MPT Expo, and expanding our efforts to support our largest events internally, providing strong customer service and member focus.
โAs we start a new year, we want to celebrate our team that continues to drive value for the power transmission industry,โ said Jenny Blackford, Chief Operating Officer for MPMA. โThese six individuals deserve recognition for their ability to deliver excellence for our members and the industry. Their success is a testament to the culture weโve built togetherโa team-wide commitment to constant improvement. Our MPMA members are the heart of everything we do, and I am grateful to the entire staff for their tireless work in making this organization the premier home for our industry.โ
