William M. Andreski

Bill Andreski has over thirty years of experience in heavy manufacturing, specializing in medium and large gear manufacturing, steel metallurgy, forging and heat treatment processes. Over a fifteen-year career with Horsburgh & Scott Company, a large gear drive manufacturer in Cleveland, he rose through the ranks as Metallurgist, Purchasing and Engineering Manager, Plant Manager, Director of Heat Treat and Metallurgy, and Business Unit Vice President. He has extensive knowledge of heat treatment processes as applied to gears and forgings, including carburizing, induction hardening, through hardening and nitriding.

He spent five years as Technical Support Metallurgist and Regional Sales Manager for A. Finkl & Sons of Chicago, Illinois. Finkl is a fully integrated tool steel manufacturer and a principal supplier of open die and forging die steels in North America. Following this, for a five-year period, Andreski was Vice President Operations, and Owner-Partner of American Metal Treating, a large commercial induction hardening heat treating company in Cleveland. During this same ten-year period, he was a consultant with the Forging Defense Manufacturing Consortium FORGE-IT team, providing technical and supply chain solutions for the DOD.

In 2011, he formed MetConsult LLC and MobilMetals LLC in Cleveland to provide technical and business consulting services, as well as niche forging and heat treating solutions. The business focus is on the process disciplines of forging, heat treatment, sales and manufacturing of gears and gear drives for industrial, marine, wind markets and transportation markets. He is currently consulting with gear and gear drive manufacturing companies, and heat treating companies, in the United States, Canada, South Korea, Germany, Italy, China and India.

Andreski received a BS Metallurgical Engineering degree from The Ohio State University in Columbus, Ohio, and MS Material Science Engineering from Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland. He also holds an MBA from Baldwin Wallace College in Cleveland.
